New for 2006: EPOCH's famous Indoor Racer has been given new life in 2006 - just in time for the next mini R/C trend. There will be many new exciting bodies & hop-up parts to be released soon.

Introduction: EPOCH's Indoor Racer 'Spec 2' is a fully proportional 1/43 'professional' radio-controlled car at one half the size of the Mini-Z and Palm Runner. Its package includes charger, radio transmitter, AM 27 MHz crystals, pre-painted ABS plastic body, chassis. Add a 9V battery to the transmitter and 6 AA batteries to the charger and you are ready to race with a scale speed of up to 300 km/h & beyond! In short, Indoor Racer race as fast as a Mini-Z or even faster depending on the track, tires, components & bodies being used.

Transmitter features digital proportional steering and forward/reverse throttle. New floating front and rear suspension system. Charger charges the 3 built-in NiMH batteries in car via a small cable. A charge time of 2 minutes provides an usage time of about 6 - 9 minutes.

Thanks to the redesigned and optimized electronics, Spec 2 is a faster car with longer run times than the older Spec 1. A new spring and spacer have been included in the chassis to allow adjustment of the front/rear suspension for variable ground clearance. Adjustable wheel base, larger wheels/tires and a larger clear plastic bumper has also been added.

Frequency of the receiver and transmitter can be changed by a crystal in each unit. A maximum of 12 cars can simultaneously run by exchanging the crystals which are readily available at most R/C hobby shops.

Drifting: This is a big thing these days in the import car & R/C sccenes. With the new motor & EPOCH's new Turbo board, Indoor Racer beats a Mini-Z flat out so if you have a slick floor or track, oh yea!

Hop-Ups: Upcoming hop-up parts include but are not limited to: aluminum motor mounts with dual motors & ball bearings, ball bearings on the front hubs, carbon fiber chassis, 4-wheel-drive 1/43 bottle rockets w/ external Mofets, litho-polymer batteries and/or 3-can cell packs (litho & 3-can pack enable run time of up to 55 & 45 min respectively.
