About NANO NATION RC

It started with a simple thought: Why doesn’t this exist?

I didn’t start NANO NATION RC to build a company; I started it because I wanted something that didn’t exist.

I was looking for a tiny RC excavator that was fully functional, with proportional controls and independent movements, something that actually operated like the real thing. When I couldn’t find it anywhere, I decided to build it myself.

With no formal background in manufacturing, I taught myself CAD and 3D printing, learned injection molding from scratch, and prototyped relentlessly. What started as a personal project turned into a three-year grind of prototyping, testing, failing, and improving...over and over...until it finally met my standard.

That process led to the creation of the X100.

At first, it was just something I wanted to enjoy for myself. But after sharing the prototype online, the response was overwhelming. People didn’t just like it; they wanted one. That early interest eventually turned into a successful Kickstarter campaign, where more than 2,400 supporters came together to raise over $350,000 to bring the vision to life.

NANO NATION RC was built on that momentum.

Designing is what drives me... figuring out how to make small machines move, perform, and feel right at a small scale. Every product will reflect that mindset: functional, proportional, and built to be used, not just displayed.

I’m not just building RC toys. I’m building a hobby-grade fleet for the people who believed in this from the start and continue to support NANO NATION RC today.
